Death We fight so hard against our final status, but we never truly win. Learning to live our lives to the best of our abilities is our most important takeaway from cancer. Each day is a present. We need to make the most of them. Cherish those you hold dear. Take the time to tell them you love them.

Pain. Pain during cancer treatment and pain when you're in remission. It can be debilitating to be in pain. Taking it slow and steady, giving yourself grace not to complete one more project, or do one more load of dishes. It's okay to do less.

On your good days, take advantage of your increased energy. Sort through that pile of miscellaneous things that's been piling up. Take a longer walk. Meet up with a friend for some tea. Enjoy the extra energy. Go with the flow helps as we adjust to our post-cancer self.

Running on fumes today? We’ve all had those nights where sleep never moves past twilight, and morning greets us with sandbags for eyelids. Ask yourself: Which tasks truly matter right now? Fatigue isn’t failure; it’s your body tapping the brakes. Honor it, recalibrate, then press on. Almost all cancer patients experience fatigue. Some are lucky, as it's a passing side-effect, but many are left with it permanently. @YouBeatCancerNowWhat
