There were warming stations and someone was giving out hot chocolate at their house.

PS, we were there right at opening. It got REALLY BUSY REALLY FAST - what you see in the image was maybe just the first twenty minutes. I would love to know whether there is a lot more attendance by people on foot and by bike during the nights where Candy Cane Lane is "closed" to cars!

I went to #CandyCaneLane twice this year, once during a regular night, and the other time on an "open" (car free) night.

Car-free was A BAJILLION times nicer. No fumes, less noise, more space to explore. And it was SO BUSY. If I was calling the shots, more nights should be open 🤷🏽‍♀️
