This is the interior of an old car used to shore up the bank of the lower Loup River Canal. This old car has new occupancy. It is home to the creatures that call the Loup River Canal home.

An old car faces the downward at the Lower Loup River Canal in Columbus. The process is called Detroit RipRap.

This picture shows off the amazing eco system inside an old car that was used to shore up the bank of the lower Loup River Canal. Tall green grass grows where the seats once we're. A tree truck or post is vertical in the driver's seat. The blue water sparkles as it rushes by the car outside. The shell of this car provides protection much like a house provides protection from the wind.
