Pinguicula moranensis variedad neovolcanica es una planta #carnívora endémica (❤️) del centro de México.

Florece dos veces al año y en las imágenes se observan sus hojas de verano, que son amplias y con pequeñas glándulas en la superficie para capturar a sus presas.

Por el contrario, en invierno desarrollan hojas suculentas más pequeñas, que les permiten sobrevivir la falta de lluvia y las bajas temperaturas.
