I think I am in danger of becoming a jazzy jazz man. I still don’t know really what I’m listening to if I’m honest. I mean I don’t know all the terms and drops and syncopated beats (that’s a term) and jazzy phrases and stuff. I definitely have my favourite genre(s) though.

Anyway, #JonsCookingMusic tonight is this bad boy, another of the Blue Note cassette tape recent acquisitions.

If you’ve ever seen The Mighty Boosh and Howard Moon ‘air trumpeting’ to The Spirit Of Jazz….well that’s me right now.

Este fin de semana en la "Feira" de mi ciudad por 1€ cada y el próximo mes estaré ahí de nuevo que me va a traer más #cassettes 🙂

5 cintas de cassette encontradas en un mercadillo a 1€ cada. Banda sonora de Ghost, una recopilación portuguesa de Nº1 del año 92. La de Rick Astley pensé que estaría aquella canción famosa “Never Gonna Give You Up” pero un rábano no veo sin gafas. Música clásica de Vivaldi, Las Cuatro Estaciones y una recopilación ochentera de soul (muy buena esta).

Just picked up some Dying Fetus cassettes from Brutal Mind, a cool seller in Indonesia. Definitely recommend for the metalheads. They even threw in a complementary CD which I put into a case I had lying around.

Brutal Mind even threw in a discount sheet offering a 32% discount on items so the tariff cost won't be as bad (ofc, I have to spend a certain amount to get the discount anyway but still)

Brutal Mind was also cool enough to throw in a complementary CD (sans case, but I had one lying around that I could put it into), this one being a copy of "Oculus Rot" by Buried. Haven't heard of these guys, but the album looks sick af, gonna have to give it a listen :)

Two cassettes: a copy of Dying Fetus' first album "Purification Through Violence" and their third album "Destroy the Opposition" which I picked up from Brutal Mind, a cool specialty seller in Indonesia, chock-full of the best extreme music out there :)

Inspired by many situations in my life and I will never like this. We can all enjoy things from decades before our birth. (Plus I did grew up with cassettes, I don't know why that person thought they weren't common in the early to mid 90's.)
