Note for our DNA snack 😀

We investigate the function of a gene called “maf1” 🧬
This licorice-gummy is based on the DNA sequence of this gene from the brewer’s yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae 😀 We also checked maf1 genes from the humans and also from the fisison yeast Schizosaccharomyce pombe, which we love and is used to brew pombe beer 🤔 But the best coloring was obtained from S. cerevisiae, so here it is (revised version) 😋
