At some point he needs to get some cash at an ATM that is just across the river. There is a boat that can take only him plus one of the three items. #CharGPT lead me astray. It’s made-up answers that I got while researching #FilmPhotograhy topics were wrong or in accurate more than half the time. Everything it said was complete bullshit and only seldomly matched reality. It would really hope if it would at least produce sources. Instead, it gave me generic search term suggestions that yield nothing useful. Sigh. 🤖

This might not age well…

Since #CharGPT can generate code several people have speculated that AI will eventually replace programmers. I’ve made a good career building business apps in tools like Cobol, xBase (dBase, FoxPro, Clipper), Filemaker, Access, and web CMSes like Drupal, all tools that were built to eliminate the need for programmers, yet ironically created more developer jobs then they eliminated. So I’m betting on the potential of #ai #developer #people #jobs .
