‘Monster of a man’ from Neath jailed for sex attack on schoolgirl family member
36-year-old Dean Bradley from Neath sexually assaulted his victim over the course of a year. The victim had the strength to disclose the horrific abuse to her mother at the end of last year, after she discovered a suspicious “yellow-white discharge” on a pair of her daughter’s underwear as she was doing the laundry.
Swansea Crown Court heard that the visibly upset and shaken girl described to her mother the sexual acts Bradley had subjected her to on a number of occasions, and the “sick, weird” videos he made her watch of people having sex.
Police forensics teams subsequently matched DNA on the girl’s underwear to Bradley.
The girl’s mother described Bradley as a “danger to society and all children” and a “monster of a man” who “psychologically groomed” her daughter.
After changing his plea from not guilty to guilty Bradley was convicted of 3 counts of Assaulting a child under the age of 13 by penetration and three counts of causing a child under 13 to watch/ look at an image of sexual activity.
Bradley was sentenced on Monday June 23, 2025, at Swansea Crown Court to 12 years and 8 months in prison and will be added to the sex offenders register for life. He will also be subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and Restraining order.
Detective Constable James Carver from South Wales Police said: “Dean Bradley caried out a horrific attack against a defenceless child.
“We commend the bravery of the victim in having the courage to speak up, having lived with this awful experience. We hope that they will no longer have to live in fear of Dean Bradley.”

Himachal News: शिमला में एक डॉक्टर दंपति द्वारा गोद ली बच्ची की पिटाई का वायरल वीडियो सामने आया। पीजीआई चंडीगढ़ में कार्यरत डॉक्टर ने 14 मई को शिमला में बच्ची को डंडे से मारा। वीडियो में बच्ची चिल्लाती दिख रही है। चाइल्ड वेलफेयर कमेटी ने मामले की जांच शुरू की। यह घटना बच्ची के साथ क्रूरता को दर्शाती है, जिसने लोगों को स्तब्ध कर दिया।
बच्ची को तीन महीने की उम्र में लिया था गोद
डॉक्टर दंपति ने बच्ची को तीन महीने की उम्र में गोद लिया था। उनकी पत्नी भी डॉक्टर हैं। शिमला में उनके ससुराल के दौरे के दौरान यह घटना हुई। वायरल वीडियो के बाद चाइल्ड हेल्पलाइन और चंडीगढ़ प्रशासन तक शिकायत पहुंची। बच्ची ने पिटाई की बात स्वीकारी, लेकिन अभिभावकों के साथ रहने की इच्छा जताई। दंपति ने भी मारपीट की बात मानी।
चाइल्ड वेलफेयर कमेटी ने दिए जांच के आदेश
चाइल्ड वेलफेयर कमेटी ने पुलिस को एफआईआर दर्ज करने और बच्ची की स्कूल से पढ़ाई व व्यवहार की रिपोर्ट मंगवाने का निर्देश दिया। कमेटी ने बच्ची और अभिभावकों को 24 जून को दोबारा पेश होने को कहा। चंडीगढ़ बाल अधिकार संरक्षण आयोग की चेयरपर्सन शिप्रा बंसल ने भी मामले का संज्ञान लिया। उन्होंने सभी तथ्यों की समीक्षा के बाद कार्रवाई का आश्वासन दिया।
वायरल वीडियो: सोशल मीडिया पर हंगामा
वायरल वीडियो के सोशल मीडिया पर फैलने के बाद लोगों में आक्रोश देखा गया। चाइल्ड हेल्पलाइन 1098, चंडीगढ़ के चीफ सेक्रेटरी और प्रशासक तक शिकायत पहुंची। सोशल वेलफेयर सचिव अनुराधा चगती ने जांच के आदेश दिए। यह मामला बच्ची की सुरक्षा और कल्याण को लेकर गंभीर सवाल उठाता है। पुलिस और प्रशासन की कार्रवाई पर सबकी नजरें टिकी हैं।
आगे की कार्रवाई का इंतजार
चाइल्ड वेलफेयर कमेटी और पुलिस इस मामले की गहन जांच कर रही हैं। बच्ची की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करना प्राथमिकता है। स्कूल से मंगवाई गई रिपोर्ट बच्ची के व्यवहार और पढ़ाई की स्थिति को स्पष्ट करेगी। वायरल वीडियो ने समाज में बाल संरक्षण के मुद्दे को फिर से चर्चा में ला दिया। प्रशासन की अगली कार्रवाई का सभी को इंतजार है।
