Estou usando só o ChromeOS sem ativar a VM do Linux, estou com ele ligado direto sem travar em nenhum momento.

Uma desvantagem do sistema é você não conseguir ouvir uma música ao mesmo tempo que esta assistindo uma live, pelo que andei lendo é uma limitação do player de áudio/vídeo do ChromeOS.

Huh, #ChromeOSFlex is one wierd OS.

On the one hand, it uses MD3Y (so i can match the colors of the apps with my #googlepixel ), but on the other hand, the apps are all webapps, so there is no use.

The linux env is cool, one flag and i have igpu passthrough, and the apps has a theme similar to the Materia theme/style for GTK & Kvantum, but what's the use of using chromeos flex?

My MacBook Air 6,1 is certified and supported till end 2026, but uh, i can get infinite support with linux.

I was under the impression you can link your pixel and "chromebook" together and make use of the playstore, but no, it's only for real chromebooks.

Verdict: chromeos flex is good if you want a basic netbook experience.

I have had #chromeosflex installed on my old T540p laptop for around a month now, and it have been a delight. Linux VM enabled and I am happy as a clam.

I decided I should also try #ChromeOSFlex, since the Linux environment that is available should allow me to install #VivaldiBrowser but I cannot get this thing to connect to my WiFi, so that is not an option.

Ich habe mal gerade spaßeshalber angetestet wie gut sich wohl im Linuxcontainer von #ChromeOSFlex installierte Flatpaks ins System integrieren und wurde positiv überrascht... ich hätte ehrlich gesagt nicht damit gerechnet, aber die Apps werden sauber ins Startmenü übernommen und zumindest die paar Programme die ich getestet habe scheinen sauber zu laufen.

Okay, last chance. I will try to make #ZorinOS work on a 32-bit UEFI.

I should copy-paste the bootloader from #Fedora and redirect the EFI Boot entry to the 32-bit bootloader, which I suspect is the same old shim.efi.

Let's see if my assumptions are correct. Otherwise, I will shove in ChromeOS Flex and call it a day, because is VERY touchscreen friendly and more compatible than #FydeOS.
