I probably should point out that my researching online is important because there are so many “household tips” from well-meaning people. I’m looking also at the pure chemical first to see environmental information and safety for me to use. If a “recipe” for a cleaner calls for several ingredients I check all of them. Citric acid is often used in combination but that may not be necessary. I’m going for the occasional uses not everyday homemade detergents or soaps. #TipOfDay #CitricAcid

She continues with learning the joys of environmentally safe chemicals for cleaning, powerful and soo cheap. Citric acid! #TipOfDay 3 tablespoons in the dishwasher dispenser and run a regular wash to clean it. Realized it hadn’t been cleaned in 2 years since getting it. Astonishing to open the door this morning to see it has brilliant shine and gleam. #CitricAcid Prolly use it once a month in the electric kettle and to attack limescale rings in the toilets.

It looks like I went overboard with the citric acid in the citrate layer. #Citricacid feels almost like sugar when being applied. It's tacky and maybe I needed to let it try for a few hours rather than jump right into it. When applying the citrate, the cyanide layer seem to melt and mix. I think I'm going to experiment with a layer of #citrate and Jell-O mix. So first layer with cyanide, wait for complete dry, then second with #citrate #glop mix.
