In my experience, my attitude—that no one should voluntarily be going to work for the federal government right now—is either an extreme minority opinion among current and former federal #CivicTech workers, or other people who believe as I do are unwilling to speak up about it in spaces with current and former feds.
Apparently I'm less diplomatic and more outspoken than most current and former feds. What a surprise.

I was considering getting involved with a nascent organization building a team to plan what reforms might be possible within federal #CivicTech if the next presidential administration is "sane" and they are given the opportunity.
But then I found out they're interested in "bipartisan" reforms and would be happy to work with a "President Mitt Romney or John McCain" in the next administration.
We're far past that, and if they don't get that they're part of the problem.
