12 years.
It's done.
I graduated.

The ceremony was weird. I sat in the side so I saw like half the stage, some parts of the script were funny and worst of all, my class was rushed unto the stage out of order so my teacher could take credit for us being an ASD class and graduating.

And then, right before the big finish, when everybody went on stage and got their gifts, a thought burst into my mind: Will these people remember me at all? I remember many of them, but I was not dominant.

After the big finish, I cried.
Can I trust people?

Sure, there's the net, but you can't trust anybody online. They can backstab you at any minute.
I hope I find good friends - people who will actually think of me without me
reminding them of my existence.

Goodbye, school. I will probably miss you in 10 years.

My detachment was small, maybe 75 👮‍♂️ officers and enlisted. Almost every 💂‍♂️ enlisted man in my detachment was a 🎓 college graduate who had enlisted to avoid being drafted into the ⚓️ Marines as cannon 🥩 fodder.
