I had the idea to have three varieties of clematis of different colors to climb on the same garden obelisk last year. Sadly only two of them came back this year. The dark purple one is Clematis "The Vagabond" (not "Jackmanii" as previously thought) and the other one is Clematis "Vancouver Daybreak".

The other clematis in the backyard has also exploded with blooms. This is Clematis "Blue Ravine". It's growing in the shade so it's a bit of a late-bloomer. I've had it for many years but I didn't know how to care for it until I took gardening more seriously in the early years of the pandemic. It's only started to bloom profusely in the last couple of years.
