When the Tribune told Talbott that a host of scientific experts had said the contrary, his reply was blunt.
'You need to find some better experts,' he said. When asked for names, the Tribune reported, Talbott would only say, 'starting here, with me.'

How to talk like a climate denialist:
1. Start with a myth, e.g., "humans emit only a small % of CO2" or "scientists don't agree."
2. When debunked, dismiss scientific consensus as bogus.
3. Next, claim the scientific method is flawed.
4. Fall back on "common sense" or "practical wisdom".
5. Finally, invoke conspiracies about free speech, bribed scientists, or hidden agendas.

#climateChangeDenial Approached by a government weather control nutcase (I wanted to ask about chemtrails and flat earth). They had photocopies of an old newspaper article (which tabloid? I wanted to ask) that was too small to read. On the flip side, parts of the story were reproduced larger so one could — my partner stopped them there and sent them packing.
