Look I'm going to try to help y'all out here. Get a Brazilian hammock (hammock goes inside), get a fan, put up solar panels everywhere. There's too much sun, use the goddamn sun! Like this is not rocket science. It's up there clearly. Like clearly you're all noticing the Sun at long last. 🤦
Insulate your house with insulation that reflects radiant heat. Insulate it a lot.
Build your house partially underground. Build it out of Earth bags. Build it out cinder blocks. Basements are always cooler because the Earth is constantly 60 or so degrees, if you dig down 5 or 6 ft.
Mint tea will lower your body temperature. It's just what mint does.
There are certain sorts of hats that act like a solar chimney basically and cool your head off.
Also, if you don't want to die you probably should figure something out about your tree situation. If you're in the city well you should probably leave the city. But hey, that's on you at this point 👍
In cities put solar panels on every roof and over every parking lot, or you're going to burn alive.
Outside of cities, grow a tree canopy over your house. Keep your trees, put trees everywhere. Big trees, small trees, weird vines, weird trees that are actually somehow also vines.
The evaporation from the leaves act as a giant swamp cooler. The entire forest canopy is evaporative cooling.
If you're just screwed, and you probably are, a 5 to 10-ft barrier of you pea, gravel or rocks you find around, ugly gravel people use for driveways, just any sort of non-flammable rock-like material will greatly increase the chances of your dwelling surviving a nearby fire. Make your roof out of literally anything else but shingles.
Clay tiles, metal whenever anything else.
On the note of fires, bungee cable an air filter for your air conditioner to a box fan. You can use the box the box fan came in and double up on the filters if you're feeling fancy.
If smoke (not the on fire kind of smoke, like the everything is on fire somewhere else and I can't breathe, because of all the smoke in the air kind of smoke), heat, or cold is starting to overcome you section off a single small room in your house, preferably one with a window AC unit if it's hot or a heater If it's cold of course.
It would be prudent, even if people think you've gone mad to just staple this insulation inside the room itself, and prepare yourself for the inevitability of needing a room such as this.
I'm probably not saying this ever again because clearly no one's out there listening, but hey that's what you do. Don't do it and enjoy the results.
