@tdverstynen @elduvelle agreed. trying to do this with collaborators who are on the same page. It's one of the reasons I'm currently working with the echo network where we are trying to embed science within society. It's also one of the reasons why I co-founded the #Climatematch Impact Scholars Program with other volunteers at @climatematch. last year, we made it a requirement for all micropublications to have a summary for the general public and we encouraged the scholars to explore creative formats. It was awesome!
We got text summaries but we also got poems like this and this, graphical summary, and we had a public seminar -- all the video presentations are available for each of the projects.
The Impact Scholars Program was so well received that @neuromatch has now extended it to all the courses! It's one of the things I'm really proud of having co-created ❤️

We are thrilled to announce that we have accepted 25 scholar groups into the #ImpactScholars Program! Each group has been paired with a dedicated mentor who will provide guidance and support throughout the six-month journey.
Our scholars will have the opportunity to: Publish a micropublication with an assigned DOI, Deliver a 20-minute virtual presentation, shared across #Neuromatch and #Climatematch social media platforms.
