A #clojureconj memory with some dear fellow Clojurians and mr. Clojure himself!
For someone who doesn't like shopping for new clothing that much, a developer conference like the #clojureconj where you get t-shirts and socks are so nice!

Had a blast at the #clojureconj (my first ever). Met so many familiar and new faces, almost non-stop. Can't believe it's already over and I'm on my way back tomorrow!
Awesome to hear Davis Shepherd and Jonathan Indig from Netflix talk about how stable the Clojure / Datomic ecosystem has been over the past 10 years, especially in comparison to the number of breaking changes that other open-source infrastructure projects have gone through in the same amount of time.
The talk is called ”A Decade on Datomic” for when videos are published
Clojure/conj day 2!

Great first morning at #ClojureConj2025 Lovely to see so many people, some of whom I haven't seen (in-person) in years!
Touched down in Charlotte for #ClojureConj
My upcoming conj talk finally fits within the "max 1 minute per slide" budget after practicing more and deleting more stuff (and not deleting much of the essence)...
Clojure/Conj 2025 live stream tickets are also available for USD $10 — select "Livestream Registration (only)" on the registration form
Clojure/conj 2025 is coming up in Charlotte, North Carolina. I'll be there. I might even talk.

I watched this talk by Stepan Parunashvili at #ClojureConj and as he was going through the modern FE architecture diagrams, I could really notice tension building in my body, ha. InstantDB seems like a very clever solution, makes me want to give it a try. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FikTQf8qho&list=PLZdCLR02grLr4TWUP6qeLxIn4OJLNwKNZ&index=11
@plexus wohoo!
Also thank you for your #clojureconj presentation https://youtu.be/FSTIFgn0QVU?si=kSne_MeVZPV-f2Zh - making my fingers itch.
My talk from the #clojureconj, Enhancing LLM Powered Development with Clojure's REPL, is up! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNhqqiKuUmw. #clojure
So I was at the Conj after all, via a last minute spontaneous digital invite by Alex Miller during his keynote ;)
90+% of Clojure people who responded to the Clojure Survey use babashka
... Thanks! 😊
Cam Saul from Metabase at the conj likes #cljKondo :)
Sadly I can’t be at the #ClojureConj, but I took it as motivation to drive my :emacs: clojure-ts-mode PR over the finish line 🏁
It addresses handling definitions having metadata, a very common thing in Clerk notebooks.

After the interesting discussion in the #clojureconj AI Coding unsession today, I did a little experiment to see how well the new Claude would do implementing a simple Clojure web tutorial: https://github.com/cursive-ide/caveman
So who's coming to the #clojureconj ?
