Today we found Virgin Hill Roasters out in Foster Quebec. Curious if they are related to the old Virgin Farms in North Hatley. Back in the the 80’s we frequented the farm on our motorbikes after after the main house burnt down and the started farming. Also discovered today that my Uncle knew old grandmother Virgin. Always an adventure to be had.

I learned about #shade-grown coffee this week (nationalzoo.si.edu/migratory-b...). It seems there are not that many #coffeeroasters in Europe offering this #bird-friendly alternative. I found this place in Vienna, which also ships out of country: https://zalvera.com Does anyone know other roasters offering shade-grown coffee?

All roasteries keep inventory; this includes raw materials, work-in-progress, supplies used in operations, and finished goods.

Inventory can be as simple as a bucket to keep your roasted beans or as complex as a mix of raw materials and subassemblies used as part of a more extensive manufacturing process.
