Spring cleaning has started early in my computer room.
The desk behind me, which used to be Arianna's, was covered in piles of "stuff" from the past couple of years.
Made great progress today by organizing a lot of it to our old ironing board frame.
I hope to get the desk totally workable for computer projects, including Oric Atmos and Commodore C128.

As an undiagnosed ADHDer, my current hyperfocus is looking at getting a new desk. My next desk will be a nice L shaped one with a more solid top to allow me to mount my 43" monitor which should tidy up the space a bit.

The question is, fixed or sit-stand? I have a standing desk at the moment, and do I use the standing option on it? Maybe once every 3 months or so.

But I feel like I'm going to have #FOMO if I go static.

My step son is home for a few days so I cannot work from the desk in his room. I’ve been using that space for my telecommuting needs for months now. When did I move things there? I can’t remember. Was it last fall? Last August maybe? I could search the blog for it but I’m too lazy at the moment.

Not using the desk in his room means I am back at the desk in the cellar. I left it all setup for work use when I moved so the big question for this morning was would it all still work?

The answer? Yes. Yes it does. All of it. Excellent. I had to plug everything into the laptop, and plug the webcam into the USB hub, and turn the speakers on, and that was it. I am now 100% back up to speed. I’m all punched in and off to the employment races.

Technology, man. You gotta just dig it.
