troubleshooting home network issues this morning, thought it was Tailscale, but it was actually #NextDNS via tailscale.

Anyone using alternatives like #ControlD ?

@itsfoss This has happened to a lesser extent before, which is why I always prioritize privacy-oriented DNS solutions over the most well-known ones. And yes, security goes hand in hand with privacy.
In the time I have used @quad9dns , #ControlD or @AdGuard, I have never had this problem.
However, I think Cloudflare is innovative and has some good features/solutions.

Somehow #controld seems to label today every false positiv as AI malware.

Switched dns to #controld. The number of blocked requests is a bit surprising.

But it makes work much easier. My respect!

#ControlD übertrifft meine Erwartungen; speziell die Geschwindigkeit der Verbindung ist aus meiner Sicht überragend.

Gisteren tijdens de papa-dag ook bezig geweest met #controld dns filtering. Met name voor de oudste zodat ie geen andere websites, etc kan bezoeken en voor me zelf om de reclame te filteren. Icm met #tailscale bevalt het goed! Nog over nadenken om ook mullvad-vpn er bij te doen maar vind 5euro p/mnd wel weer veel daarvoor eigenlijk
