#Corbyn has been elected #YourParty leader.

It's a real shame. I don't think he is quite right. Having said that, he'll probably draw the most support.

His style of leadership was one reason the antisemitism in the Labour Party was handled poorly. He likes to talk and listen but assumes bad actors will change their mind through debate.

However in YP with a strong #grassroots faction, this could be good

I prefer #ZarahSultana but I don't see her being popular among voters if she was to lead

#AshSarkar's analysis of #ZarahSultana's #YourParty is incisive and concise, tho kinder than my take:

1/ #Sultana tried to hijack YP at the ourset, by unilaterally announcing herself as co-leader. The resulting mistrust was inevitable, and fatal.

2/ Sultana is primarily a revolutionary socialist allied with entryist factions. #Corbyn is a Bennite, seeking a parliamentary path to socialism. I have sympathies with both traditions, but they don't mix. They should not be joined together.

I consider myself a socialist and a left-winger. I was born in Hull, a staunch red city, over 70 years ago. Everyone I knew voted #Labour.
I stopped voting Labour after I made the mistake of voting for #TonyBliar the first time around. Nothing since has convinced me to change my mind, except the brief blip that was #Corbyn.
That Labour Party has long since gone.

A few of the #GrassrootsLeft candidates won seats in the CEC and they will be pushing against the witch hunts and to allow things like dual membership.

I hope #ZarahSultana and friends will steer Your Party into a good direction and make the party worth voting for. It's important to have a party that is genuinely #socialist and genuinely different to what we currently have in the UK.

#Corbyn got the most votes by far though, and others on Corbyn's team that got elected talked well enough. They seem like good people.

Still, none of my first choices in the London CEC were elected, and I feel most of the voting went towards people who are already known, and not on listening to what people were saying and how well they talked.
