Mondelēz impulsa formación dual con universidad de SLP

Mondelēz y la UTSLP firmaron acuerdo para capacitar estudiantes en entorno laboral real.

La empresa Mondelēz Snacking México formalizó un convenio con la Universidad Tecnológica de San Luis Potosí. Con esta alianza, implementó un modelo educativo que conectó la teoría académica con la experiencia profesional directa. El acuerdo ofreció a estudiantes de Técnico Superior Universitario (TSU) la posibilidad de integrarse como aprendices. Los jóvenes adquirieron experiencia en áreas reales dentro de las instalaciones de la compañía.

Gracias al programa, los participantes aplicaron conocimientos y fortalecieron habilidades en un entorno laboral desafiante. La estrategia fomentó una formación más completa y enfocada en la empleabilidad. La iniciativa formó parte de los esfuerzos de la empresa por contribuir al desarrollo del talento local.

Formación conectada al empleo

Las prácticas se realizarán en la planta de la compañía en San Luis Potosí, donde operan varias líneas. Ahí se producen productos como Coronado, Kranky, Panditas, entre otras marcas del portafolio. Mondelēz, conocida por elaborar Paleta Payaso, Bubulubu, Philadelphia y Trident, apostó por impulsar a nuevos profesionales. La alianza reforzó su inversión en educación técnica en las regiones donde opera.

Además de conocimiento técnico, el modelo promovió valores como la responsabilidad, puntualidad y compromiso. La empresa señaló que su objetivo fue alentar el máximo desarrollo de sus aprendices. Este programa permitió estrechar la colaboración entre el sector académico y el sector productivo nacional.

Apoyo institucional universitario

El rector Iván Uriel Rodríguez Cardona expresó que la educación dual fortaleció la competitividad. Aseguró que la experiencia impactó positivamente la vida de los estudiantes. Detalló que la formación práctica en empresas optimizó el rendimiento académico y la preparación profesional. La alianza con Mondelēz simbolizó un paso hacia una educación alineada con la realidad laboral.

La directora de Vinculación, Gabriela Solís González, calificó el acuerdo como un puente hacia el liderazgo industrial. Añadió que los participantes estarían preparados para asumir retos desde sus primeros pasos. La universidad reiteró que el modelo beneficiaría tanto a estudiantes como a las industrias regionales.

Modelo educativo alemán

El programa se basó en el esquema de Formación Dual Alemán, adaptado al sistema mexicano. Esta metodología combinó teoría con práctica para acelerar el desarrollo profesional del alumnado.

Los estudiantes cursaron parte del programa académico dentro de la empresa, bajo supervisión directa. Esto permitió mejorar su aprendizaje integral y vincularlo con las necesidades del mercado.

La experiencia fomentó competencias técnicas, operativas y sociales altamente valoradas en el entorno laboral. Con ello, Mondelēz participó activamente en la preparación de sus futuros colaboradores.

Relación universidad-industria

El vínculo entre academia y empresa generó ventajas para ambas partes. La institución fortaleció sus programas educativos, mientras la industria atrajo talento capacitado. Los jóvenes desarrollaron proyectos reales con impacto directo en procesos productivos. La adaptación al entorno profesional ocurrió con mayor rapidez que en modelos tradicionales.

Además, los aprendices adquirieron sentido de pertenencia, iniciativa y liderazgo desde el inicio de su formación. Este modelo aumentó las oportunidades de inserción laboral inmediata tras la conclusión del programa.

Compromiso de Mondelēz

Uriel Trejo Pecero, gerente de Asuntos Públicos de la empresa, subrayó el valor del acuerdo. Comentó que se buscó crear ambientes que retaran y motivaran a los jóvenes a crecer profesionalmente. El representante señaló que esta colaboración también tuvo impacto en la comunidad. Reafirmó el compromiso empresarial con el desarrollo regional y la innovación educativa.

A través de este tipo de alianzas, la compañía fortaleció su cultura organizacional enfocada en talento joven. También generó condiciones para la construcción de trayectorias laborales más sólidas y equitativas. –sn–

An April SolarQuest — Photobomb Included

Taking advantage of midday clear skies, Thursday, we set up the hydrogen-alpha telescope and did a little observing and imaging. Seeing conditions were only good but we could make out several prominences along Sun’s limb. (The proms did not record well and we need to figure out how to enhance their visibility in our images.) Most notable, however, was the shear number of filaments in Sun’s northern hemisphere. None visible in the south! Fragments of exploding filaments launched from Sun and produced two CMEs that, when they reached Earth on April 16, caused strong geomagnetic storm activity and widespread auroras. The storm, however, died out before northern lights could be seen here.

Aiding in our efforts was a device we used for the very first time in this session: The Sky-Watcher SolarQuest with its HelioFind system. The device is lightweight, easily supported our rather robust Coronado solar telescope, and was exceptionally easy to learn and operate. Essentially, all that was needed was to set the tripod up so that it was level, turn the device on, and let it do its thing! It is powered by four AA batteries, placed inside the unit. As an alt-az mount, no counterweights or muliti-axis balancing was needed; just mount the scope with its balance point at the center of the dovetail clamp. No remote control, no app, the compact and self-contained SolarQuest established GPS contact, leveled the scope, then looked for Sun. The SolarQuest turned and elevated the telescope, quickly acquiring our nearest star. When the motion stopped, we looked through the eyepiece to discover Sun well within the field of view. A few nudges of the system’s adjustment buttons and Sun was centered. Tracking was excellent throughout the observing/imaging session. Provision is made for further refinement of tracking but that adjustment was unnecessary for the day’s activity. The SolarQuest will make our daytime astronomy a whole lot more convenient and enjoyable!

We had just finished setting up for some solar astronomy and tapped the button to begin a video sequence when something flashed across the computer screen. A jet appeared for less than a second, contrails briefly persisting, silhouetted against the roiling solar disk! We’ve only seen this twice while observing Sun, this being the second time, and we only captured this image by shear luck. The first time we witnessed a solar “photo-bombing” was under similar circumstances. Previously, we had completed setup, was refining focus, and just about to begin recording exposures. We missed imaging that encounter by about the same interval as we succeeded this time!
