One advantage of the #ASHP tariff (#CosyOctopus) from #OctopusEnergy is that, if you have #SolarPV, there is a cheap rate period from 13:00 to 16:00. On a dull day, with little solar power, there is still time to charge your #Battery with #CheapRate electricity before the peak rate kicks in at 16:00. This saves having to make that decision the night before.

Even with the #ASHP, my batteries are easily carrying me through the 4pm-7pm peak period (to 9.30pm most days) #OctopusEnergy #CosyOctopus #OutgoingOctopus #ASHP #PHEV #MiltonKeynes #midlands #uk #solar #solarbattery

Two weeks in, and I am still having fun messing around with the configuration of the system to try to benefit from both sunny and overcast days. My aim, ultimately though, is to set up the system so that it does not require daily intervention. #solarpv installation just installed . 14 x 400W, 8kW #Sunsynk inverter, 2 x 5.12kWh batteries. The last few days has given a mix of weather, great for learning.
