Cracker Barrel says they didn't refuse service but they went ahead and fired 3 people? I would say there are discrepancies. I'm glad to see this incident doesn't seem to be doing away and I hope Cracker Barrel is truly held accountable.

Though I stand by my comment from an earlier post, that the food is still crap.
Given their plummeting sales and rapidly shrinking relevancy, it's incredible that #CrackerBarrel would refuse to serve a group of 12 students and chaperones because of their #disabilities. And make no mistake, despite their bullshit excuse about a "staffing challenge" that day, this was overt discrimination and shameful behavior by the staff. The only challenge was their unwillingness to do their job. And then corporate tried to clean it up. Fuck Cracker Barrel.

Tonight my wife and I had a very pleasant dinner at #CrackerBarrel with a dear friend. Our friend’s mother is in her mid80s, and she’s all in for Trump. She’s totally bought into the horde of invading immigrants narrative. Our friend has tried to set her straight with zero success. I think that now, 2 weeks out from Election Day, those who have not been reached will never be. At least #IVoted and I’m still feeling reasonably hopeful.

I smoked some chicken wings today on my #Recteq. We have dry rubbed with a homemade #BBQ mix my 8 yo made for Father's Day. We have some traditional #Buffalo and then a few with a jalapeño apple BBQ sauce. And then lastly, a few plain ones for my youngest.
Add on a side of grilled corn and #CrackerBarrel style cooked carrots and we are eating good for lunch today!

Spending the morning with my lady D. at Cracker Barrel, coffee in hand.
Went to Cracker Barrel for the first time today. Food was decent. I went outside my comfort zone and ordered something new for me. I had country fried steak with sawmill gravy (I don't usually do gravy, except chicken occasionally) and I had the loaded hash brown casserole. The casserole is very heavy on the onion flavor which is not usually my thing. Portion was too big for me so I couldn't finish. Excellent biscuits though. I will be ordering the biscuit mix soon.
