There's an awful lot of hate for the nebulous topic of "cryptocurrencies" on Mastodon. Some of it is warranted I'll grant, but people need to understand that many of the core tenets that drove its creation and adoption are those that lead to the creation of Activity Pub and the adoption of their beloved Mastodon.
