Last night a second run through of the surreal & unsettling Every Sunrise for @grahamwalmsley 's Cosmic Dark. A wonderful and inventive group leaning strongly into the strange.

@Taskerland I ran #CthulhuDark two times and it was a blast - wanted me to never return to horror #ttrpgs featuring long skill lists. For me, the dark fantasy / horror-themed game #TrophyGold occupies just the right spot between rules-lite and campaign-able plus its mechanics include Cthulhu Dark „DNA“ inherited via Trophy Dark. When it comes to modern horror, my game of choice would be #LiminalHorror these days.

I definitely see myself running Josh Hittie’s incursion again. It is full of good ideas on how to make dark science Fantasy tropes gameable, BUT I would probably not use #TrophyGoldRPG again, but instead run this (super cool) module using either #CthulhuDark or #TrophyDark. 4/x

As part of Raspy Raven's 7 Wonders season, games inspired by the ancient wonders, we played Artemis run by Sue.
It was a game very much in the Jamesian mode which was enormous fun. Great character play from everyone and a creepy adventure that will be published sometime soonish.
That's 5 games since last Sunday, another cancelled and another I can't make tomorrow. Crazy!
An excellent evening with @grahamwalmsley and friends, taking us through Rina Haenze's Die Not Ingloriously.
Unsurprisingly we did die & much blood was spilt!
A glorious, mythic adventure where we questioned the gods and the gods threw all the horrors at their command at us. Such is their nature.
A fitting end to the week.
