Works well on my Lenovo Yoga :> This gives me a reason to actually upgrade the memory and fix the chasis, because I technically have a wacom touchscreen... believe it or not.

Today is @teamspellbinders release day and I'm participating with this elegant Copperplate card. The sentiment is designed by master calligrapher @pascribe. It's a BetterPress plate that I foiled with Glimmer Foil in Skybright. I love seeing these elegant shapes in pastel colors!

My own cursive (I'm now 70) had seriously deteriorated ever since i bought a desktop computer 25 years ago. I got to a point where I felt really ashamed of it and hesitated to hand write any message in birthday or holiday cards.
I have a fondness for old things, and had bought a bunch of circa 1910 humorous postcards. I found the beautiful handwritten script (cursive) personal messages on the backs of the cards to be extremely beautiful and endearing. I secretly wished i could write even slightly like that.
A few years later, I attempted fountain pen writing. As a leftie it was not easy, but I kept at it and altered my hand/arm angles. I loved it! My cursive improved, even becoming better than when i was in school, better than ever before.
Lately I've gone even more towards the 1910 era... have been enjoying using a dip pen with metal nibs and bottles of ink. It really seems to click with my sensibilities. It gives me great pleasure to write in a journal, and I'm super happy when friends and family tell me how much they love getting my cards on various occasions. 💌🖋📮
My personal journey to reclaim my cursive skills has been so rewarding and enjoyable.

In celebration of new #fountainpen day; Forever is composed of Nows by Emily Dickinson. The pen is a Monteverde Ritma in Midnight Orchid. I've only played with it a bit, but so far I'm enjoying it. The ink is Diamine Purple Dream, on a Stalogy notebook.

I wrote 6 long cursive handwritten letters with pretty cards to some family and friends this week. Been meaning to do this for months, and finally got through them- the last are out for mail pickup tomorrow. Felt so good doing this!
I used both #fountainpen and #DipPen with my lovely inks. I used waterproof inks on the outside addresses. Included a few rubber stamping and decorative stickers. I also had some pretty postage stamps to use.
I find my dip pen cursive writing is getting smaller and more delicate over time. I think that's because the metal dip nibs enable incredibly hair-fine lines as well as the juiciest flex lines you can imagine.
So satisfying! (and extra thanks to LuciaG for added inspo)
