The terminal extends from the left edge of the frame (the ferry terminals), angled away from the viewer, bends to the right (main lobby entrance) and again to form a shorter “wing” (the terminal end structure for the platforms and Bush-type train sheds). The center of the check-mark shape is a public square, which currently houses a white construction trailer. The entire facade is covered in copper, displaying a green/blue patina. A stone clock tower, a later reconstruction of the original, rises behind, lit letters stacked vertically to spell “Lackawanna”. Buildings in Hoboken are visible to the right and behind. A jet aircraft heading north and a helicopter heading southeast are visible in the sky on the left.
