Good news today: #Germany will probably not support the #Danish Presidency's proposal for #EU #chatcontrol and the #EuropeanCouncil vote may be postponed indefinitely.

For a while it looked like Germany would switch to the chat control camp at the urging of the #CDU/#CSU. But thousands of emails from citizens and associations, #petitions and phone calls have been successful.
