@AskDRZ To this post IMO uncritical to the regime, which is IMO symbolized by this memorial built by IMO dictator Hun Sen, I am adding a differing point of view: "witnessed the murder of a man who had his throat cut by a compound manager after he was caught trying to escape" -- "police visited their compounds regularly, including to remove dead bodies, but without taking any action against the managers" -- "Many people died" -- "murder, rape and torture" -- "evidence pointing towards state complicity or deliberate inaction" -- "Cambodian authorities appear to be doing nothing to help"
