My #asrock #ryzen pc sometime freezes. Happens rarely. It is running #debian13.

Any hints for log files that can help me?

Finally getting around to upgrading my home server from Debian bookworm (12/oldstable) to trixie (13/stable).

`apt upgrade --without-new-pkgs` went smoothly enough, just a few config files with local tweaks.

Currently wishing I had FTTP for the `apt full-upgrade` downloads. I'm "languishing on only 80Mbps FTTC".

I expect to have some issues to sort out once this bit is done, and I still need to re-activate/update my third-party repositories....

Raspberry Pi Imager lässt sich nicht mehr in #Debian 13 installieren.

apt install weigert sich imager_...AppImage zu installieren. Einfache Abhilfe: Ausführungsrecht der runtergeladenen Datei setzen (chmod 755 imager_...) und anschließend mit sudo ./imager_... einfach starten (sudo für Schreibrecht auf Wechseldatenträger).

@thelinuxcast I forgot about the 2015 #iMac 5K I was gifted. It currently has a Skylake chip and 24 gigs of ram. Currently it is running #Debian13 with #Gnome on an external SSD.

So far it has been chuggin' along fine. It does well with #Floorp and #Youtube.

For a friend, I installed Debian 13 (Gnome 49) on their 2010 MacBook pro A1278 with 4gb ram. Installed sudo and broadcom WiFi firmware and the 16 year old mac runs buttery smooth on Linux.

It will be a pain configuring the propriety webcam. Any suggestions?

Earlier today my #debian13 machine booted up with no issues. And no I get a RDSeed32 error and it will not boot into linux. Haven't found a fix yet. 😕 #linux

Damned. Ein #debian13 mit aktuellen(!) NVIDIA-Treibern zu fahren ist echt anstrengend. Ich habe noch nicht raus was ich alles an Paketen löschen muss damit der nvidia-Installer starten will; wenn ich auf die Version 590 pinne gibts Abhängigkeiten mit nvidia-egl-wayland1 was zu alt ist... das ist irgendwie doof wenn der verwendete Treiber zu alt zu sein scheint (550)..

With #Nouveau, I get a black/blank main screen for 3 seconds each minute (sometimes also after 10 minutes).
