Posted a few thoughts on Deliver Us the Moon. Really good game. Been on a hard sci fi kick and this scratched that itch. Finished it too! I seem to do most of my game completions in January...

The person in the space suit is looking at an orb shaped robot thing, and is running their hand across it.

What's interesting, is that the robot looks very similar to Wheatley from Portal 2. White orb with a single blue eye. Aside from the fact that the ASE is competent, it could be Wheatley as the last place he was known to be was the Moon.

Probably a requirement for all games set on the moon, but it is the person in the space suit staring at the Apollo 11 lander and lunar rover. The bleached white US flag is there too.

Fuck are those things tiny though. Buzz might have been larger than life, but physically tiny.

I now played through both #DeliverUsTheMoon and #DeliverUsMars, and they are great pieces of storytelling, interesting gameplay, and generally good examples of what indie games can offer. Personally, I even liked the first part a bit better, because it used its individual graphic style more consequently and didn't try to look like an AAA game. But both are worth playing IMO.

Just finished playing #DeliverUsTheMoon 🌕. I love a game that tells a story, and this one definitely does. And I must say it feels a tiny bit weird to play it at the same time when China publishes a study about the feasibility of #Helium3 mining on the moon. 😬
