I was just on #facebook posting a Gofundme link for my friend's cat surgery and I was mindblasted with endless waves of nonsense outrage about ICE, outrage about a dead conservative cartoonist's conservative views, outrage over the new #StarTrek... I didn't see a single thing posted by any of my friends in the ten minutes I was online. This makes me extremely #depressed. I wish the #manufacturedoutrage machine would at least throw me some #dopamine treats once in a while. #pleasebemyfriend

Missed the muffin thing today. I just forgot about it. Lonely now... I don't get to be with anyone until next Sunday. Better than nothing but... won't keep me alive, that's for sure. #lonely #depressed

I'm so #depressed tonight that I am dangerously close to posting vague upsetting things on the Facebook to see if anyone left on my friends list will even pretend to care about me.

Put my blankets and bedsheets in the washer at around 7:30pm. They'd be ready for the drier by 8:30 at least. Instead, I tried to figure out how to get random towns to have potato instead of wheat in their farms. 5 hours later I hhad failed, and then I realized I forgot to put my blankets ands bedsheets in the drier. Now I have to stay up until 2am waiting for them to get dry.

Again.

Weather modelling... wish I had access to simplex noise. I wanted to have a weather severity noise, so it could vary from clear weather to storms smoothly over time, in blobs over a geographic region. But biomes are still idiotically long strips, not voronoi partitions. And there isn't a spectrum from clear to storm. Is it snowing? Raining? Which of those is "more" severe? A light snow vs. a heavy rain... sure I could have it only snow in snow biomes, but some might be better having both rain and snow. Or sandstorms and very rarely rain, in deserts.

Separate noise generators for each type of effect, that just get ignored in biomes without that effect? But again rain is rarer in deserts, not as common as in grasslands.

I dunno I'm just not smart enough to figure it out. Might as well give up. I can see how it would work but... that's all I'll ever get I think.

I get that I'm not the only one who couldn't find a partner, but why is no one else talking about it? It bothers me, haunts me every single day, for all my thousands of days, so how can I not talk about it? But I'm the only one?

I'd love it if no one else had to suffer like this, but it just seems impossible. With all the opportunity you horrible people take away, there have to be some of us who are alone until it's too late. But what happened to them? Did they kill themselves? It would be good if they did. Maybe I'm just the only one who refused to die.

Just had a thought, after I spoke with a friend about ’20s of the 20th century. People in the past were not that #depressed because it was somewhat normal part of their lives to physically kill the source of their depression, which was likely another human. Obviously it’s just a theory.
