This week I started working with the Home Ed group in Alfreton where a group of young people are aiming to complete their Bronze Arts Awards. We started with cyanotype photography looking at its history and examples of artists working with the process.

A woodland scene with bold, characterful trees, laiden with leaves just beginning to turn as autumn begins to take hold. Ferns line the woodland floor, some developing a rusty colour as they turn. The light bathes them with a glow, adding contrast to the scene.

Wednesday work in progress. I'm taking time out today to start the ground work on a small scale, self directed project based in my local landscape.
