#DestroyBoys have done it again … LOVE this band.

I just listened to an interview with Violet (guitar) and learned that they’re from Sacramento (the “big city“ closest to my tiny hometown) and that Abe from Deftones is her godfather, and actually drummed for the band for a short spell!

Destroy Boys son una banda compuesta principalmente por chicas, que toman como inspiración el Punkrock y el movimiento Riot Grrl, entre otros. Una curiosidad es que tienen algunas canciones en español inspiradas -según leo- por alguna conexión con Argentina (muy evidente en esas canciones) de su vocalista Alexia Roditis. Eso leí mientras escuchaba.
Una banda totalmente recomendable 👌🏻
