Devil’s Tower in eastern #Wyoming has been sacred to Native American groups for generations. The #Lakota people know it as Mato Tipila, or Bears Lodge, a holy site of mythical importance. Along with other native peoples, they regularly make pilgrimages there every June. They perform rituals and leave offerings at this unique geological feature.
