Plans for today:

- been spending a lot of time recently on @BOOKHOUSE trying to get it into a place that I am happy with. I think systemwise it is pretty much there. All I need to do is finish editing the treasure for the first treasure hunt (a #TTRPG with complete publishing rights!) and this year’s treasure hunt can launch. So, I shall try and do a bit of that.

- because the above is a once-a-year occasion I am looking at how https://sparkwoodand21.com can keep my squirrel-like brain busy in the meantime. I think I have found a few ways that need to be designed to work with my #ADHD brain. I shall work on that as well.

- one of the things that https://sparkwoodand21.com hosts is my commonplace book. Some people might call that a #digitalgarden, but I do not. There are a load of entries on a different site that I can move across and that feels like a thing I could do a bit of today

- i have a new class starting this evening: Aikido. So will need to prep for that.

- Big fan of drinking tea at the moment. So a lot of that as well.

I wrote a note a couple of days ago that I knew wasn't right. It was difficult to pin down and to a small degree hurt to write. Maybe hurt is too strong, but it certainly felt off.

I'm back working on my #digitalgarden template based on fromjason.xyz and powered by #11ty. 🎉🎉

I finished the design and now I'm working on the structure. I'm fixing all the quirks I didn't foresee in making fromjason, and I'm adding new functionality.

Idk what I'll do with it when I'm done. Selling the template sure is appealing only cause I could use the money lol. But, I also like the idea of contributing to the 11ty community and giving it away for free.

Anyway, I'm excited to share!

The general design and the illustrations, the content (from quick notes to polished essays), the way it creates a visual and conceptual taxonomy with the #digitalgarden concept... Just 🤩

I've been migrating my social media posts over to the new site. A ton of work (and learning curve) but I'm pretty happy with the result.
Since deleting IG, I'm posting very selectively on more open platforms (like Mastodon) and it's nice to keep a self-hosted archive as part of my own blog/site. I even have the full archive of my IG in there now (exported before I deleted it).
Last step, was setting up an automated import for Mastodon.
