Yesterday, my VPS control panel showed 10GB/100GB. Now, it's plus 1, making it 11GB/100GB. It seems like I have little to be concerned about, and maybe I can reduce the remote data retention to only 3 to 1 day, making it more efficient. 😄 Federation isn't my main focus for my server, I think. But I prefer to have an audience that chooses to read my posts, whether they are trusted acquaintances, friends, family, or others. 😄

"Marginalized communities and people are falling through an eroding social safety net and instead being caught in an expanding web of gendered criminalization. Policed out of physical spaces, sex workers, queer and trans communities, people seeking abortion care, and susbtance users seeking survival and bodily autonomy are seeking health, safety, and community in increasingly dangerous digital spaces.

Looking for non-carceral interventions, our movements have sought public health as a nonviolent alternative. But policing has followed into the places where we have, again, sought safety. The creep of criminalization is moving online and deputizing private actors to be its eyes and ears, and moving into public health to become a site of enforcing “good womanhood,” whether the policed identify as women or not."

It existed previously, in a couple of forms, and after the last one, I took custodianship of the domain name, with the understanding I'd either find a new, good home for it, or launch a new project that was aimed towards a similar goal as Pavel was trying to go for.

So, I've got the time, and spoons to go for it, so here it is. Tilde.red is an #anticapitalist, #antiracist, #antifascist, digital collective building art, tools, and spaces for people to run collectively and as a #cooperative endeavor.

I think we're at a good spot to do the soft launch. Most of the infra is there, finishing touches going up still.

So, if you're wanting to help build a digital community dedicated to making things to make our world a better place, I'm excited to have you!
