• Remember: covid is not over, 50% of infections are asymptomatic, minimum 10% of infections end up in long COVID, re-infections wreck us, COVID spreads and moves like cigarette smoke, think of the people around you and you as people who are all day smoking, it becomes more visual to understand how COVID moves.
• There is no way to “train” the immune system because it is not a muscle. there is a common misconception that exposure to harmful germs strengthens the immune system. viral diseases like COVID, flu, measles weaken the immune system, leaving the possibility of lasting damage. The reality is that you don't build your immunity with repeated infections, vaccines strengthen the immune system by teaching it to recognize pathogens without all the risks. Focusing on infection prevention is key.
• Rapid antigen tests give many false negatives.
• Solving the pandemic was never in the cards for the capitalist world.
• Instead, the explicit goal of the ruling class has been to make the pandemic simply disappear from public perception. Any reminder of the existence of a highly-transmissible, highly-dangerous, mass-disabling disease could trigger panic, or worse: organized, militant labor action. Averting this crisis required a careful campaign of culture-crafting; the people themselves needed to become convinced that there was no reason to fight. Consent for protracted mass infection needed to be manufactured.

“The cold truth of the matter is that the motive behind COVID minimization is greed and social control. (…) Solving the pandemic was never in the cards for the capitalist world. Instead, the explicit goal of the ruling class has been to make the pandemic simply disappear from public perception.” Let Them Eat Plague! clarion.unity-struggle-unity.o

Hola, me llamo Demian.

If you are an activist against oppression and do not wear a mask: you either don’t truly understand the harm you are causing or you are choosing to ignore disabled people.

a lo mejor te hiciste en algún momento alguna pregunta, pero no pudiste acceder a realmente información verificable sobre el daño que se hace cuando se normalizan y banalizan infeccionesI’d like you to think about the reasons you wore a mask over the past few years and what made you stop wearing it.

You probably never actually stopped to ask yourself whether it was completely safe to stop wearing one—you simply followed the "normal" imposed by the state.

Maybe at some point, you had questions, but you were unable to access truly reliable information about the harm caused by normalizing and trivializing infections.

usen mascarilla, sean radicales

You have the right to remain disabled, without asking for forgiveness or favors. I exist as a disabled person and I will never apologize for it. The system is the one that disables me, and I am the one who should feel ashamed? Simply for supporting ITS oppression? No, I will not be complicit in my own drowning.

I do not ask for forgiveness. Disabled pride to the end. I have the right to be sick. The state is the one that expropriated my health.

- The lack of accessibility in bathrooms, public transportation, streets, education, healthcare, dignified leisure options (even in self-managed centers). Our lives go beyond our pain: we have the right to enjoy them, but they don’t let us. Not even to lessen the pain, nor to make enjoyment accessible to all.
In other words, the discomfort of disabled people doesn’t come from them, not even from the chronic physical illnesses many of us live with, but it comes primarily from a system that marginalizes us, literally makes us sick, doesn’t let us live, forces us to believe there’s no other way to exist. There is another way, and we are going to destroy the world that disables us and create a system for and by the working class. Down with all forms of exploitation, through militancy and organization (which cannot happen without disabled people).

Do you want to “cure” my disability? Destroy the system that disables me.

Emotional discomfort, psychiatric categorizations, neurodivergence, physical discomforts, do not exist in isolation, outside of society; in reality, the discomfort of disabled people does not stem solely from the limitations we may have (and also, we should question what limitations are “purely” ours and which are “a consequence of” a system of ableism).

• The reality is that our discomfort stems from, for example:
- Late diagnoses
- Lack of research
- Medical negligence where people haven’t been listened to, where care hasn’t been accessible, where racism, sexism, LGBTQ+phobia, xenophobia, etc., have played a crucial role, turning science into another form of violence rather than a way to help and understand people.
- Family neglect, where a diagnosis may take years to come, or where you’re locked up in psychiatric wards, where you’re not allowed to be yourself, where chronic illness, pain, discomfort is not accepted. Where all the care burden falls on one person, or even worse, where you aren’t cared for, and made to believe you don’t deserve to be cared for.
• The reality is that our discomfort comes from, for example:
- A system that forces us to adjust to the pace of capital, and if we don’t fit into this rigid form of exploitation, we are isolated, impoverished, marginalized.
- Lack of socialization of science, which also leads to a rise in pseudosciences that kill us every day, selling remedies that don’t help people with chronic illnesses, which often try to label emotional discomfort as purely individual “chemical imbalances.”
- Precarity and exploitation

Here my #Presentation in English

I am demian, a #nonbinary, #communist, #disabled person and the ongoing eugenics campaign of rampant #COVID transmission has changed every fiber of my being.

Regarding my ideology, I became a radical feminist at 13, fighting against transphobia in the name of feminism. Then, I started learning communist and anarchist theory when I was 15, initially out of interest in the explanation of patriarchal oppression. My first radicalized readings were Kollontai, which led me to Lenin, and from there to Stalin. Historical and dialectical materialism was one of the things that caught my attention most about communism, and it still deeply excites me to put it into practice and conduct analysis using this method.

In my activism, my greatest presence and learning has been in housing defense spaces. Since 2023, I’ve been focusing on radical translations in general, and specifically on anti-ableism.

Aside from Crohn’s, I have other autoimmune diseases like endometriosis, arthritis, and psoriasis. All of them lead me to experience extreme pain. I am immunocompromised, chronically ill, disabled, non-binary, and I have psychological issues both from the trauma of pain and violence, as well as the isolation that comes with being disabled during an ongoing pandemic where it has been decided that our lives are disposable. I also take medications that further compromise me. I’ve had two symptomatic COVID infections, one in early 2022 (when I wasn't on immunosuppressive medication) and another in May 2024. The latter has left me with lingering effects like pulsations, dizziness, memory loss, mental fatigue, stomach pain, and continuous nausea.

The ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) wasn't passed because they cared about disabled people; it was passed because they wanted more people working and fewer people on welfare. You might think that mask exemptions would definitely be a violation of the ADA, right? Well, you'd think so, but that's not how the ADA works at all. When we gained accessibility through the ADA, it meant that someone had to be harmed or discriminated against in order to need it. That's what the law is for. Discrimination has to have already occurred. That's how ADA cases work.
The history of the ADA is quite complex, and I’m not going to try to explain all of it here, but it was a conservative law at the time, and it remains conservative. It appears progressive because it's the only law we have. Educated disabled people pushed for this as a progressive move, but it's not really. And so, every time you talk about having these "exemptions" when it comes to mask mandates, saying, "Oh yes, but it won’t be a grandma at the grocery store, she won’t get in trouble, she’s not going to be arrested for wearing a mask and refusing to take it off," you’re missing the point. No, no, no, no. These exemptions aren’t in the law. People will have to live through hostile situations. People will have to live through inaccessibility. People will have to be harmed in order for the ADA to even work in their favor.
The ADA isn't like an enforceable mandate in that way, and they did it on purpose. They knew that public life wasn’t accessible. They knew most buildings weren’t accessible. They knew accessibility was a huge issue, and that disabled people couldn’t move through the world when the law was passed, and that making things accessible would cost a ton of money.
