Been trying to work on more new music today. Started work another new song. Finally think I'm starting to get into motion with the music again.

It's #BandcampFriday - a great time to get familiar with my back catalog while I work on new music. The day of the month when #Bandcamp doesn't take a cut from any sales.

While there are some more Alternative-Dancey tracks, overall the project is more Electronic Listening Music than dance music. I've personally started to use Electronic Rock or Synthrock more in the last year.

I gotta make recording easier for myself, especially with my spoons these days. Most days #fibro wears me out before I can get started.

As much as I love capturing guitar and voice at once, I think I gotta start doing more overdubbing of the two separately, and I'm struggling against the shame of doing so as a folkie. I'm sure I'll get over it.

Why do people like this song??

Not that I’m too upset, but it’s basically the demo.. and it’s more successful than the (comparatively recent) remaster of my first song (which turned out really good, I think…)

Honestly, though, I’m really hoping people end up liking the fully-mastered version with vocals more, whenever I can actually record it (which has to wait until I have somewhere to call home)

New Release! Kind of... 😂

I'm slowly but surely starting to reissue music from my past released under various aliases and in various places on my An Ideal For Living netlabel/archive. Besides having them all in one place, this allows me to share old projects of mine without having my deadname attached to them.

Today I reissued the only e.p. from my synthwave project Boop with two bonus tracks. "Progress Rules, OK?" was originally just "Human Waste 2016" (along with the extended remix) and "Ignorance Is Death" and were written in response to both Trump winning in 2016 as well as the "fashwave" movement.

The two bonus tracks are "Voyage to the House of Boop" which was released as a stand alone track in early 2017, and the previously unreleased "Delivery After Midnight (Pizza Runner)".

Fun facts: "Delivery After Midnight (Pizza Runner)" is the first song i ever made using just hardware synths, and the original "Progress Rules, OK?" was the first release of mine that a listener paid for (it's pay what you want, no min) and earned me any money from my music.
