Puppy Pack Sled Team

The daycare wanted to take some photographs to make into postcards, for their end of the year festivities. Someone suggested to have all the puppies barking in the snow while tethered to a dogsled. Snow the pizzly wanted to join in too, calling himself a puppy-bear.

The caretakers found Snow a cute Santa outfit and put him on the sled with fake presents (afraid he would leak on them). Then came the time to leash the puppies, which was quite the wrangle. Yuri the husky used his best smile and his strongest dad jokes to convince the caretakers to make him the lead dog. They couldn't handle the deluge, so they gave in and let him.

Small Coyle claimed that he was a big shepherd dog and wanted to lead. More sheep than sheepdog, he tried to rein in Yuri's eagerness, and claim that as sheepdog he would keep everyone safe. That was until auntie Puppy got him harnessed in the position of beta. All full of cubbish pride does he led the group for the picture ... thankfully, it is only for picture because Yuri and him seldom agree on directions.

Fiona, always hyper and derpy, was just happy to be in the snow playing around. Despite the cold, she wore a dress showing her thick diaper, as she bounced around like the Scottish princess she was. Her leash was really useful to avoid having her run around.

Loupy, the oldest and tallest pup, was way too shy to point out that as a wolf he was the most appropriate to lead and go around (even if wolves aren't really used to pull sleds). Dressed in one of the cute pink outfits the caretakers always use on the small male pup. He just followed around playfully.

Shadow was closing the team along with Krissy, an adorable pink Alaskan malamute. The pup was way too young to drag anything by herself, but way too excited not to join the mush team. Sucking on her pacifier and crinkling as she bounced trying to keep up with the rest of the group. The black border collie wanted to be the leader of the group, but he couldn't get it from the other shepherd dog and wanted to say with his little blue-pink puppy, as it was more fun being with her.

Finally, all the little ones were dressed, harnessed and ready for the picture. All the parents will love the postcard the daycare crew will send them.

Christmas may have came and went, but much like many folks' holiday packages, there's some stragglers that still need tending to. Don't worry! There's a special team for that. They're, uh... a bit special, but they're trying their best!

Hosted another Reindeer Sleigh collab this past Christmas, but unfortunately I wasn't able to get it properly organized and shared around in a timely manner, so I figured we would extend it into January in order for anyone who wanted to participate to have some extra time! I'm super glad we did, because this year's team is quite excellent!! We may be late to the party, but we still lookin' BANGER.
