After tinkering 1,5 years on this #dj setup I'm finally quite happy with it. Enjoyed a lot the journey of coming up with my own
#diy controllers. Also the freedom of having an extra pre-eq in front of the xone96 with a super steep high/lowpass + bell eq gives so much more control, especially when mixing with 4 decks. Besides the xone (next adventure) all #foss of course and only possible thanks to #mixxx #faust #arduino #dragonflyreverb #linux #pipewire #carla and probably quite some more.

There's been an important fix done to Dragonfly Reverb plug-ins! There was a bug that has caused rare, but insane volume spikes. *hopefully* these are finally gone - if you want to help, update and test!

Finally! I finally have some time to create joy and sound waves. #RandomLoop today! Bass it is, bass line is very just pretty much a snip from Daft Punk because it funks, and then I can focus on playing with knobs.
This time it's nothing very brainy, pretty much letting the #pittsburghModular #sv1b analog oscillator and filter be super good sounding as they are. Oh, how I missed them.
I added a tiny bit of room reverb, because it's juicy. Thanks to Michael Willis for their #DragonFlyReverb VST (https://michaelwillis.github.io/dragonfly-reverb/), it's just excellent sounding while being free software (GPLv3, as in freedom). So, USE IT. Just kidding, you don't have to use it.
This time it's nothing very brainy, pretty much letting the #pittsburghModular #sv1b analog oscillator and filter be super good sounding as they are. Oh, how I missed them.
