I think this is a very positive step forward for ADF. I was a member for many years, but stopped sending in dues when I got the impression that a lot of the leadership didn't understand what it is like being a solitary practitioner in a thinly-populated state in which religious minorities can often lead difficult lives. My dedicant program coursework was 90% completed.

And built (with significant help and guidance):
A dry stone altar to the ancestors

With significant sciatica pain causing frequent breaks.

I'm proud of myself for this performance.

A dry stone altar. It is dressed with an altar cloth and ritual implements, and an open chest awaiting offerings. The hearthstone has not been placed yet in this photo, as the photo was taken before the consecration. It has since been consecrated and the hearthstone placed. Beyond the altar is a very large, very old white pine tree we call Great Great Grandfather Pine. He is a wonderful listener.

ein paar worte über mich....
ich liebe natur und wald und bäume, ich umarme leidenschaftlich gern, ich lese, male, fotografiere und gebe gerne auch mal reiki. ich bin überzeugt, daß es noch viel mehr gibt als das, was einem erzählt wird.
ich bin öfter mal ziemlich verpeilt und gieße zum beispiel auch mal heißes wasser in einen leeren kaffeefilter, weil ich vergesse, das kaffeepulver reinzuschütten😅.
stand heute versuche ich, meine inneren mauern, prägungen und glaubenssätze abzubauen und immer mehr meinem herz zu folgen. manchmal bringt mich das gewaltig ins schleudern, aber aufgeben ist schon lang keine option mehr. dies führte auch dazu, daß ich im september meine ausbildung zur ergotherapeutin begonnen habe.
mein motto auf diesem weg: hinter der angst beginnt das vertrauen und das leben.
