It is cool to see more people discovering Book of the New Sun (#BotNS)-- one of my favorite series of books ever -- and making art about it. I just had reason to search for images related to the books and saw so much "new" stuff since I last looked at art based on the story. Finally finished Jack Vance's Dying Earth series. I liked how ridiculous a lot of the problems the characters faced were, like men being turned into women in Rhialto the Marvelous, and the flowery and dramatic language of such terms as "pangynic nightmare".

My dilemma for the #Furnace RPG convention. I’m running in two slots. One slot will be the #DyingEarth #ttrpg but I’m thinking of going more story game for the second slot.
I’m trying to decide between #TheSlowKnife which I’ve facilitated before and was great interactive fun, and #Revolt. The latter is very like #Root in style and is a factional game driven by cards, which I worry will make the final outcome too random.
Anyone got a view on this, or have played Revolt?
