Timelapse of my art study of Michelle Yeoh from Everything Everywhere All At Once to study color!
One of my favorite movies of all time is Everything Everywhere All At Once, and I just had to paint Michelle Yeoh in the vibrant Chinese opera outfit! This was painted when I was studying color and how to paint digitally.

Et si vous l'avez raté, le film est encore disponible sur le site de France TV ! (jusqu'au 29 septembre)

This film is a marvel 😍
And it's a good thing I watched the trailer afterwards because it reveals too many scenes (don't watch it!)

This is a wacky lil fic for the Inanimate Objects AU prompt, also filling rivals to lovers and long distance to form myself a little bingo!! Didnt think I'd get a bingo this year honestly...
What if #rizzy were a pair of dice? But not from the same set and not the same shape. They belong to different people and they only see each other during play sessions.

"Everywhere is a beach eventually" feels like a line out of "Everything Everywhere All at Once". To me, it suggests a beach with two rocks with googly eyes looking out at the surf.
It’s increasingly troublesome and puzzling to me that in the “two talking rocks” scenes in Everything Everywhere All at Once, in the universe with no life, there’s a dried sprig of grass in the shot with one of the talking rocks the whole time
It just occurred to me, and it now makes perfect sense.
The #fediverse is not about "here".
It's "everything, everywhere, all at once"!
We just have to reconcile ourselves with this idea of the multiverse. Or multiverses?

I found a recent talk on Youtube between Daniel Kwan and MJ Rubenstein talking about... lots of philosophical things, but immediately perked up when I heard that #A24 is releasing a screenplay book for #EverythingEverywhereAllAtOnce. No idea when, but it's not in their shop now so it must be soon-ish!
If you’d like a googly eye lapel pin, I’ll make you one. They’re roughly the size of a toonie. The cost? A toonie.
All proceeds will go to the artist that I got the idea from, once I track her down. I wear mine in honour of my favourite movie of all time, Everything Everywhere All at Once. #EEAAO
IYKYK.
No, I will not mail you one. No, I will not drop one off. Your best bet is to meet me at a certain bar in Toronto’s The Annex on Monday evenings.
You tell me it's a cruel world and we're all running around in circles. I know that. I've been on this earth just as many days as you.
When I choose to see the good side of things, I'm not being naive. It is strategic and necessary. I know you see yourself as a fighter. Well, I see myself as one too. This is how I fight.

While I'm on the subject of #EverythingEverywhereAllAtOnce (when am I not, lol), if you want another fun film that was written, directed and majority-cast by Asian and Asian-American creatives, check out #JoyRide.
I watched it because I adore Stephanie Hsu (Joy from #EEAAO), but all the leads were great. It's firmly in the vein of "women behaving badly" flicks like #Bridesmaids, #PitchPerfect and #RoughNight. (Although, twist... Well, I won't spoil it 😉).
@jackyan I feel for actors like James Hong, who've had to put up with decades of the same limited and limiting roles for Asian people in film and TV. But it's also nice to see that he's lived to see and star in great new ground-breaking films like #EEAAO, that are written, directed and majority-cast by Asian and Asian-Americans.
He's 94 now! Talk about earning your dues.
#EEAAO Oscar-winning editor in a recent-ish interview, being so woke. 😁 (I remember social media going wild over this guy when the Oscars happened; it was hilarious.)
