On 24 - 25 April 2024, our members will vote on opinions from #EUEnlargement to safeguarding democracy against disinformation, topics addressed by #EUCivilSociety.
As well, our members will discuss migration, EU competitiveness, and the Defense of Democracy Package, among others.

Disinformation is a cross-cutting issue.
On the International #FactCheckingDay, we shine a light on our work on disinformation, including our many recommendations on the EU's proposals in this area.
Actions must be taken to prevent the importation of discrimination and bias in the digital world, as well as disinformation and manipulation.
This month, our opinion on safeguarding democracy against disinformation will be put to the vote at our #EESCPlenary.

On 20-21 March 2024 our members will meet to give recommendations on specific proposals made by the European Commission.
From the availability of medicines to wind power, this month's opinions will be put to the vote.

During our last #EESCPlenary, we called for a strategy on civil dialogue, in collaboration with the @EU_Commission.
