T: 41 #euc
There was definitely no space whatsoever for him to use his lane...absolutely none.
Also, barely inaudible they shout back: "You look like a caterpillar"...like that's an insult of any kind??...

I have to say, my #euc is not flashy enough to stand out in pictures, but whatever.
Okay, let's do some "engineering" for a change, shall I?
(it's #euc related anyway, XDDDD)
So, I have this smartwatch and the app I use (EUCWorld) is cool and all, but keeps the screen ON all the time, wich, obviously, drains the battery in a short timeframe.
When it was new, people report about 3-4h, now it's 1,5h or less.
I know I could change the battery, it's not even expensive (8,5€) BUT that doesn't solve the problem in the long run.
So I want a slim adapter to charge it on the fly.

Well, there was lots of police today, but I was completely ignored.
I guess part of that is wearing the full gear AND also not driving like a madman. Gf says that they may just see the #euc and decide it may be too much hassle since "it's NOT a scooter" and prefer to just not deal with it.
@EndlessMason I can't contradict thst, but it is a posse I will not be able to achieve k the #EUC
In a rare "life opportunity", I have the chance of creating a persona/character for the #euc , to be used once autumn has landed.
Given I am the only person riding an electric unicycle in a 200k city, that can be exploited for fun (not profit, I don't do well with that) Indon't have to confirm to any roles or need to be outlandish to stand out.
Right now I have this in mind.
Unfortunately, there are no matching color cuirassier knee guards in black.

I finally increased my speed from 18-19kph to 22kph. (actually, the limit is at 25 (26 starts tiltback) but I seem to have found a sweet spot at 22.
Also I have started training "high speed" turning. I went up to this unused end-of-street rondabout I can try time rand time again. I won't be winning races anytime soon, tho.
I also have started to nottice that with the increase in speed, the "dancing" (carving) on top of the #euc is more noticeable.
Also, lots of haze:
I got a bit tired of resting the #euc on things to charge and store, so I got a pair of bricks and some glue plus the leftover wood from the AMS shelf, and did an improvised holder.
A bit of cloth serves as spacer meanwhile I source some foam to cushion the wheel.Once it's dried I will round the corners a bit.
It's offcenter on purpose, so I can add later on some form of rack for all the protections and helmet.
And yes, I guess I'll end up painting it.
@patcharcana AH!!
I am down to see what do you come up with.
If I manage to slim down, I'd like to ride the #euc in a jumpsuit...just sayin'
What noone can deny is that #euc riding looks metal as hell.

In provision of the faster #euc I just got a back protector in good enough shape for 15€ shipped.
I won't need it right away while I get the hang of the much taller wheel (pedals jump from 9cm in the old wheel to a whooping 18cm) I need to adjust my muscle memory to get to that height.
I am thinking on getting tight mesh shirts and wear the protector on top of them, and then get one of my normal loose fit mesh shirts on top.
I mostly want to hide the muffin waist effect on my current weight.
I just picked up one of those "smart" digital air compressors for the #euc since having a consistent tyre air pressure is quite important for the ride. It was 16€, and this way I don't have any uncertainty about this.

Today for a brief moment, I considered getting a bigger #euc , an Inmotion V12HT for 600€...right up until the seller wanted to do the deal outside the protections of wallapop...and I noped out fast as fuck.
I'm desperate for a wheel...but I'm not an idiot, yet. XDD
The deal with the punctured Z10 seems to be going forward.
Well, I finally know what EUC is being gifted to me. It's a spaniarized version of the SoloWheel, from 2015.
Mind you, in a sense, this is not crap, but an actual piece of #euc history.
SoloWheel came out in 2010, and dominated a single market up to 2015, when other brands started to appear. So, when this was bought, it was the ONLY #euc avaliable.
Of course, compared to actual #euc , it's not much more than a low power toy, but back then, it was an inflexion point.

So, friend's brother is sending me his #euc, free of charge, no questions asked.
Where's the trick?
I have no idea what model it will be!
It can be, literally, anything. Our best guess is that it's in the upper range of the cheap ones, roughly between 400 and 800€ "because when he buys stuff like this, tends to splurge into it, rather than buy cheap".
That's all the info we got.
V5F (500W) / Mten Mini (500W) / KS-14M (800W) / KS-14D (800W) / KS-16S (1200W)
We will know soon.
@RueNahcMohr 1h at about 10kmh, or 8,5km of continuous riding, depends on various factors.
The battery is only 150Wh, the motor is about 350w, cruising, by time, says I'm using about 150W, but ups and downs may vary power needs greatly.
It's on the very low end of the spectrum for #euc , but it's what I have.
Looking forward to sell a kidney to buy something better. XDD
T: 9++
AND that's why police will stop you and confiscate your scooter, while they don't bat an eye with my #euc adventures.
T: 9+
Sistine Chappel vibes:
I absolutely need a harder, better, faster, stronger #EUC ...
Btw, confirmed my fast safe speed at 12Kmh, not bad. My mindless cruise speed is about 10kmh.
On a different note, I am now looking at what organs I don't need so I can sell them and buy an #euc 😅 😅 😅 😅
I absolutely KNOW I need to ride a LOT more hours still, but doesn't mean my urge to have a machine that can do what I want to do in the future, isn't there poking the back of my brain.
Oh well.
Anyone in for a kidney? any takers? 🤣

Today was simply endurance. Decided to go as far as I kinda calculated the thing would go (about 10km) so I went 5 one way and back...but the battery died about 1-1,5km early.
At least now we know:
1: Green led has barely any visibility in dailight.
2: Red led too.
3: The #euc will beep dramatically. (while blinking red.
I also managed to slide the bone conduction headset inside the helmet, so the ride was very enjoyable, albeit slow.
