🤝 This mutual learning approach and collaboration between Member States is leading to more practical and effective solutions to tackle #UndeclaredWork.

💡ELA and the Employment Service of Slovenia hosted representatives from EU and Western Balkan countries in 🇸🇮Kranj. We discussed on cross-border recruitment challenges and how to attract workers from abroad.

📣 Just ended: ELA held its first meeting with the Free Movement Bodies, an important step towards fostering collaboration and support in the enforcement of workers' rights.
💡 During the session, we shared insights into ELA's scope and activities, with focus on the bodies' mandate. This allowed for fruitful discussions on identifying common issues and potential areas for support.
🕵🏻Yesterday, ELA supported a joint roadside #inspection in 🇧🇪Belgium to safeguard workers’ rights and labour standards.
Belgian Ministers Mr Pierre-Yves Dermagne, Mr Frank Vandenbroucke, Mr Georges Gilkinet; Ms Annelies Verlinden and ELA’s Executive Director Cosmin Boiangiu visited the inspection site too.

📣Happening now: online information session dedicated to the use of the European Register of #RoadTransport Undertakings #ERRU, organised by #EULabourAuthority in collaboration with the European Commission.
The session covers recent legal and technical updates in ERRU , as well as practical application of the risk rating system based on a common formula. Participants can also share experiences on information exchange related to the system and find out about ELA's role in supporting ERRU users.
📣Yesterday in 🇪🇸Madrid: #undeclaredworkplatform study visit on how the Spanish Labour and Social Security Inspectorate uses tech to fight labour abuse: the Spanish general approach, legal implications and challenges.
👉🏻Additionally, today is also taking place in Madrid the Platform subgroup meeting on safe reporting and complaint mechanisms for workers. The participants can share good practice and evaluate mechanisms to help workers report abuse and seek support.

🚀 The #ELAtraining for labour and social inspectors successfully ended today in 🇸🇰Bratislava. #EULabourAuthority brought together more than 60 inspectors from 21 🇪🇺 Member States to enhance their knowledge and skills on cross-border inspections.
🚛 The practical approach included a simulated #RoadTransport #inspection designed to train the participants in real life scenarios.
