Original poem wanted for this artwork: Black Margate.

I created this artwork from raffia, netting, clothing labels, food packaging, and more, adhered to a board with nails and staples.

I'm placing artworks in little free libraries along with poems, inviting anyone who wants to write something. Please DM, PM, carrier pigeon me.

Assemblage artwork of a fish, titled Black Margate, created from raffia, food packaging, clothing tags, netting, and bits of hard plastic. The materials are stapled and nailed onto a board, forming the textured body and fins of the fish in layered shades of silver, black, gold, red, and tan.

Tried a blue duotone edit on my photo of the suspended whale model at the Queensland Museum. It felt like a cool way to echo the ocean environment these amazing animals call home. 🐋 💙

A large model of a whale is suspended from the ceiling in a corridor with concrete walls. The space is lit with a blue tint, creating an underwater feel. Light filters in from an open end, highlighting the whale's detailed features like fins and markings
