Apparently a (very short) side quest granted me a new house, a very huge house with not only lots and lots of rooms and storage space and display racks for cool weapons, it also has garden boxes! I’ll have to see what rarer things I can grow. Crimson nirnroot is not one of them. I found myself in a weird place with crimson nirnroot and that awfully familiar side quest from Oblivion reared its head…
Also, I figured I’ve not had a horse yet, so I bought one from Riften’s stables. Apparently the stable master had books and maps to locate wild horses.
I had Balimund craft horsie a cool steel armor.

Stone garden boxes. Indoors. Each has a different plant in each plot growing.

I’m still doing the Dragonborn DLC and am in a barrow that is being excavated which I’m also funding. I can hear a new dragon word calling to me but the barrow hasn’t been excavated enough yet 😫
I have to wait for one more courier to bring word this useless guy needs help.

This is how you hook and reel me in with a game: random points of interest that don’t require a quest to go looking into them. Because I will go in and I will check into every lootable container and item for notes or keys or books or whatever that might explain what’s happened or if there’s something someone someolace else might want.
I was on my way to Windhelm and came across an abandoned prison. Inside there are ghosts. Angry ghosts. And a note that lets you know the guards fucked off and left the prisoners to drown. How do I know this? Only the prison cells and the passage way past a trapdoor in one cell have skeletons.

This is another thing I need to get used to. Quest step may tell me to talk to someone. But I shouldn’t always press A on them, because they speak automatically as you approach them.
Which could prove a bit troublesome if some random thing triggers just because I run past an NPC and have no need or time to stop and listen.

Still playing as a dark elf. Because there’s no real in between here, I made her as butch as I could. Some inspiration was taken from a friend, whose look has always been the inspiration for many a femme customisable character.
If the hair could be both black and red, that would be even more homage to this friend 😄
